Natural Resources include subjects and issues relating to atmosphere, water, land, vegetation and animal life.
Our Natural Resources work supports home insect control (e.g., ants, termites, spiders, stored food pests); water quality (e.g., pond management, native plants, buffer strips); and wildlife management including nuisance wildlife (e.g., deer, chipmunks, moles, snakes). The Extension Master Naturalist program also resides within this area, providing the KC metro with outreach, education, and a speaker’s bureau on Natural Resource topics.
