Health and Nutrition
Formerly known as Home Economics, the mission of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) is to link education with life experiences to help people improve their lives, their families and their communities. Johnson County employs two FCS agents who are responsible for their assigned program content; Nutrition and Health, and Home and Family.
Crystal Futrell is responsible for the areas of nutrition, health, food preservation and food safety, and she also oversees the Master Food Volunteer and helps manage the JoCo E.A.T.S program.
