About Us

The Johnson County K-State Research and Extension Master Gardeners (EMGs) are trained volunteers who help educate the public while beautifying the environment and improving the quality of life in the Johnson County, Kansas community.

EMG projects include:

  • demonstration gardens,
  • a free gardener’s hotline,
  • speaker’s bureau, and
  • biennial public garden tour.
