Call Before You Dig

Return to Crops and Livestock Agent Articles

Like most of you, I probably take safety too lightly. Especially in farming, there’s always work to be done with a timeline for rain or bad weather in the forecast. When it’s planting time, you go, go, go, until all the work's done or something stops you. My point in this short article is don’t let an underground pipeline be the reason your work stops.

Call 811 to locate buried underground lines and make sure you don’t get tangled up in a potentially very dangerous situation. In addition to calling 811, you can visit the web site www.kansas811.com
