Free Dial Pressure Canner Gauge Testing

Pressure Canner Lid and Dial GaugeA pressure canner with a dial gauge should be checked for accuracy annually because a variance of 1 pound — up or down — can increase the risk of food-borne illness. Gauges that read high cause under-processing and may result in unsafe food. Low readings cause over-processing.

Bring your pressure canners and dial gauges to be tested here at the office (map to our office). This service is free of charge.

We are open Monday - Friday, 8:30a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed for major holidays.

For questions please call our office at 913-715-7000.
