Extension Master Naturalists Speakers Bureau
Does your group need an educational program or speaker for a meeting? Try the Extension Master Naturalist (EMN) Speakers’ Bureau. Program speakers are trained by the Johnson County Extension Service and receive a minimum of 40 hours of training from Kansas State University plus additional advanced training.
The Extension Master Naturalist program is a volunteer educational service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas. Presentations are informal using a variety of teaching methods depending on the speaker and setting.
We request that there be at least 10 people per presentation.
Honoraria donated are greatly appreciated and will go to providing reference materials and assisting the various projects sponsored by Extension Master Naturalists.
For more information about the Speakers Bureau or to discuss potential topics, please call the Extension Office at (913)715-7010.
