Mary was born and raised in Olathe.  Mary taught elementary and middle school along with being an instructional coach and district level administrator for the Olathe School district for 34 years. After retiring, she joined the University of Kansas and led the development and implementation of the state assessment for K-12 students in Kansas. After 6 years at KU, she really retired and joined the 2022 EMG Class, which led her to her role as the EMG Program Coordinator. As a K-State alumni she is excited to wear her K-State purple once again and serve as the coordinator for the EMG program.
