Junior Extension Master Naturalists
"Kansas Wild Kids," our local Junior Extension Master Naturalist Program, provides youth ages 7-14 opportunities to learn more about our natural resources and planetary neighbors. The program tries to instill a spirit of stewardship in children through engaging, hands-on, conservation-related lessons on Kansas' wildlife and waterways, snakes and spiders, pollinators and plants.
Wild Kids! Summer Program events:
Students can explore and discover the natural environment of Johnson County with fun, hands-on experiences! Each camp will focus on different aspects of nature and teach youngsters about animals, insects, trees and more. Class fee: $5
