Johnson County Extension Education Foundation Memberships Available!
Hello, Knowledge For Life Newsletters Subscribers,
You are subscribed to this newsletter for your interest in K-State Research and Extension, Johnson County office activities and programs. I wanted to take a few minutes of your time to introduce you to our local Foundation which supports our Johnson County Extension office. Since 1997, the Johnson County Extension Education Foundation has awarded over $100,000 to further projects and activities in the areas of agriculture, community development, family and consumer sciences, horticulture and 4-H youth development. Membership dues, donations and participation in our Annual Dinner and Auction are what make these grants possible. Having realized all these wonderful achievements, COVID-19 is disrupting our plans for the year 2021. The Foundation board has decided not to have a dinner and auction in February of 2021. Instead, we will concentrate on our membership drive and are asking you to consider giving what you might have given at the auction, i.e. balloon pop, wine pull and auction bids, to raise funds for the coming year. To encourage membership renewals, your board voted to reduce the cost of all membership options by twenty percent. Thus, individual memberships will cost $40, family memberships will cost $72 and the benefactor memberships start at $200. Please consider joining our effort as a member for 2021. You can also view our membership brochure online here.
Once again, thank you for your membership and financial support. Please continue to help our quality Extension programs.
Sincerely Yours,
Larry Justice
