Pioneer 4-H Club
Club Description: Pioneer 4-H is a traditional community club with over 60 years of history in Johnson County. Most of our members live in De Soto, Olathe, Shawnee, and Lenexa, but all are welcome! We meet on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at The Barn at Kill Creek.
Service to others is our main focus. Our club regularly gives back through monthly volunteer opportunities including the De Soto Food Pantry Thanksgiving baskets, Valentines Day cards with senior care residents, and ringing bells for the Salvation Army.
In addition to service, our members explore a wide variety of project areas, including livestock, foods and nutrition, poultry, sewing, woodworking, and individual interest areas.
Although the 4-H year begins in October each year, Pioneer welcomes new families year round! Please contact our community leaders for more information or to plan a visit to an upcoming meeting.
