Their advice encourages everyone - no matter their age - to embrace challenges with confidence, stay connected to their passions, and never be afraid to ask for help. The words of wisdom below highlight that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones and support one another along the way.

Whether you’re beginning a new chapter or finishing one, carrying these lessons from our 4-H seniors can help you make the most of your journey and prepare for the future with optimism and strength.

“Take every opportunity that you have, you never know when the next opportunity will come up, so take it. It’s ok to do it scared or unsure, just never let it pass by.” - Nadia L.

“Be active in school and extracurricular activities, and step outside of your comfort zone. Experience everything you can, while you can; time goes by quickly. Don't let others' opinions dictate your actions and choices. Have faith in yourself that you can do hard things.” – Maddison C.

“Don't wait to try something new. Play sports, do theater, try public speaking. There are so many great opportunities to try at school, 4-H, and in your community. You never know what you might fall in love with.” -Mary T.

“Be ready for anything while working through projects.” – Hannah L.

“Get involved as much as possible in your projects, extracurriculars, and any other opportunities that come your way.” – Alexis F.
