New 4-H Show N Grow Program Highlights Youth Development and Inclusion at this Years Fair

In its first year, “Show N’ Grow” will feature five 4-H project areas: Table Setting, Geology, Foods and Nutrition, Astronomy, and Crafts. What makes this program unique is its focus on individual growth. Participants will set personal goals in a project area of their choice, and with support from their families, will work toward these goals through hands-on practice and documentation.

Each project will be shared with a judge at the fair, who will provide feedback and encouragement based on the participant’s progress. This will allow youth to explore interests and develop skills at their own pace—opening doors to areas that may not have been accessible to them in the past.

“Show N’ Grow” is not only a celebration of learning, but a testament to what’s possible when families and communities support growth, creativity, and inclusion in new ways. Be sure to stop by and see the inspiring work of these young participants!
