Extension Master Naturalists Speakers Bureau

Does your group need an educational program or speaker for a meeting? Try the Extension Master Naturalist (EMN) Speakers’ Bureau.  Program speakers are trained by the Johnson County Extension Service and receive a minimum of 40 hours of training from Kansas State University plus additional advanced training.

The Extension Master Naturalist program is a volunteer educational service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas.     Presentations are informal using a variety of teaching methods depending on the speaker and setting.

To arrange for your Extension Master Naturalist’s presentation, contact the Johnson County Extension Service.  You will be put in contact with the volunteer coordinator for the Speakers’ Bureau. The coordinator will then match your needs with one of our speakers. We request that there be at least 10 people per presentation.

While no fees are charged for Extension Master Naturalist presentations, any honoraria donated is greatly appreciated and will go to providing reference materials and assisting the various projects sponsored by Extension Master Naturalists.

Following is a list of topics. It is an extensive list, as Master Naturalists volunteers have diverse interests and specialties.
