Personal History/Background

Ginny serves as the Natural Resources Program Coordinator for Johnson County. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an M.A. in English and Spanish in 2011. After teaching English as a second language in Peru, Ginny worked in healthcare information technology at Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) for 11 years. She has over 5 years of experience in a program management role and is excited to be supporting the EMNs and other natural resources related programs. Ginny has a passion for nature, native plants, and community outreach. She regularly volunteers with nature related nonprofit organizations and is a member of her city’s sustainability committee. You may recognize her as an EMN from the class of 2024. Ginny aspires to improve the health of people and the planet by empowering others to take action.
