Youth Livestock Grant and Mentor Awards at the 2021 Fair

Several Johnson County K-State Research and Extension 4-H youth received awards after the livestock Round Robin Showmanship competition at the 2021 Johnson County Fair, held August 2 in Gardner, Kan.

Each year the Johnson County Livestock Association, Johnson County Farm Bureau and ADM sponsor the Livestock Grant and Mentor program for youth members of the Johnson County Extension 4-H youth development program. Each species mentor will work with the grant winner to share showmanship expertise and project knowledge. The 2020-2021 mentors received their mentor check and the 2021-2022 grant recipients were announced.
