Sunset Community Garden Pop-up Farmers Market

farmers marketThe Sunset Community Garden grows food for Johnson County, while utilizing sustainable gardening practices and providing an inviting place to gather and grow.

Save the dates for these fun pop-up markets during the 2024 season, which follow Tuesday workdays and offering produce from the morning's harvest.

Tuesday, June 11, 2024

11 am to 1 pm (or while produce lasts)

What's growing now:

We will have kale, beets, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, and zinnia cut flowers. Take what you can use, and leave a donation if you can. All proceeds will be re-invested back into the garden to grow more food.

Tour the garden!

Take a stroll through our quarter-acre garden and orchard. See what's growing and what will be harvested in a few month's time. If you have questions, ask!

Wait, there's more!

Welcome to our Extension Master Food Volunteers, who will have a table and will give away recipes and samples, plus more information from the Extension office.
