Garden Workshop 2020

Vegetable Gardening Workshop

Olathe, Kan. — Vegetable gardening is as popular as ever whether in your backyard or in one of the many community garden locations around the area.  In order to help all area vegetable gardeners learn more and to be successful in the garden, a vegetable gardening workshop will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Olathe Indian Creek Library.

Topics for this workshop were selected to help you have greater success.  Sessions will include selecting and caring for fruit trees, seed starting, laying out your garden, creating your own grow light, and planting and caring for tomatoes. The keynote presenter will be Matt Bunch, a horticulturalist from the Giving Grove. Whether you garden in a community garden or your own backyard, there will be helpful information for greater success.
