Would you like to further develop your financial skills? April is Money Smart Month in Kansas City and this is the perfect opportunity to attend free workshops and classes to increase your financial awareness. Did that say “free”? Yes it did!
Money Smart of Greater Kansas City is a community outreach organization that promotes financial awareness to all ages. Each year the organization designates April as the month to increase awareness and encourage participants to attend free classes, seminars and workshops to expand their own financial literacy. Money Smart of Great Kansas City also works to raise awareness about financial literacy issues among employers, educators, policymakers and other social organizations. Johnson County K-State Research and Extension is part of the Money Smart organization, and will conduct classes during Money Smart Month.
You can work to increase your own financial awareness by attending events and activities where you live. Learn more about the hundreds of events available by searching the Events Calendar for a program that suits your needs. Join thousands of people in Kansas City who will learn more about:
