McKenna Holtgraver

4-H Youth Development Program Manager

 

Personal History/Background

McKenna grew up in Spring Hill, Kansas where she was an active member in the Johnson County 4-H Program. McKenna was an 11-year member of the Prairie Moon 4-H Club. During her time as a 4-H'er, McKenna's projects consisted of a wide variety of things:

  • Beef
  • Swine
  • Goats
  • Photography
  • Flowers
  • Baking

McKenna earned her Associates of Science from Fort Scott Community College and studied Agricultural Communications and Small Ruminant Nutrition during her time at Kansas State University. McKenna and her family formed Holtgraver Boer Goats in 2013, and now show and sell registered Boer goats on a national level with the American Boer Goat Association.
