Ashley was born and raised in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio where she grew up loving the outdoors and playing soccer. Throughout high school, Ashley found a passion for cooking and baking. Yet, it wasn’t until she attended the University of Dayton while completing her degree in psychology that she realized her passion for understanding behavior, nutrition, cooking, food, and helping her community would eventually come together. So, after taking dietetic coursework and working as a health coach in Michigan and Kansas, Ashley decided to merge the two fields and went back to school full-time to begin working on her Master’s in public health, which she is set to graduate at the beginning of 2019.
Most recently, Ashley moved to Kansas City with her husband Jeff and their two feisty but loving cats Cole and Bernie Bean. Since moving, they have fallen in love with the area and enjoy attending Sporting KC games, golfing, and soaking up all the events downtown has to offer!
