Personal History/Background

Lexi has come full circle and ended up back in her hometown of Olathe. In college, at Emporia State University, Lexi would travel back home for weekends and breaks to work as a historic site guide at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm, where she first discovered her love for informal learning. Her passion for public education grew as she continued into her Masters of Museum Studies at the University of Kansas. Her career path led her to developing youth and volunteer programming for National Park Service affiliated sites, museums, non-profits and youth development organizations.
