Live Trap Rental

Chipmunk trapped in a live trapJohnson County K-State Research and Extension has a live trap rental program for the citizens of Johnson County.

The Extension office offers live traps available for rent for:

These traps will require a $30-$65 refundable deposit for the replacement cost of the trap, plus a $10-$20 rental fee, dependant upon size.

Traps may be rented for up to one week at a time. 

We will not come to your home and pick up the animal you have trapped. You are responsible for finding a place to take and release the animals you catch.

This program is being made available through a grant provided by the Johnson County Extension Education Foundation.
