K-State Calving Management School

Date: Tuesday, January 12

Time: 6 – 9 p.m.

Location: K-State Olathe Campus - 22201 W. Innovation Dr. Olathe, KS 66061 (just east of Kansas Highway 7 at the intersection of College Boulevard and Valley Road in Olathe)

Fee: $10/person. Includes program and dinner

K-State will be hosting a series of calving management schools across the state in December and January. We’ve teamed up with surrounding counties to host one on January 12th at the K-State Olathe Campus just off 7 highway.

The meeting will focus on

  • normal calving processes,
  • when to intervene,
  • how to manage a difficult birth,
  • developing a system for lifetime health & performance of the calf and
  • plenty of time for questions and answers.

The evening will start with a meal at 6pm followed immediately by the calving school. Registration is required by calling 913-715-7000
